Dr. Cyril N. Parker is a pioneering medical doctor with over 40 years of experience in primary healthcare. He graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand and began his career at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital and South African mining hospitals before founding the first one-stop primary healthcare center in Ennerdale, Johannesburg. Dr. Parker holds a Diploma in Anaesthesia from the College of Medicine, South Africa, and pursued further qualifications in Australia, earning fellowships in General Practice and Rural Medicine. His work spans rural and urban healthcare in South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia, with a strong focus on preventative healthcare.

Upon returning to South Africa in 2006, he co-founded Simunye Primary Healthcare and the Centre for Safe Male Circumcisions. He led the development of the UNICIRC Male Surgical-Assist Circumcision device, advancing safe circumcision practices and contributing significantly to public health programs. Dr. Parker continues to advise and innovate in healthcare solutions, shaping the future of primary care and safe circumcision methods

Dr Elisabeth R Pillgrab-Parker Healthcare Expert and Innovator

PhD (University of Educational Sciences, Klagenfurt), MA Arts (University of Vienna), Diploma in Music Therapy (University of Technology, Sydney), Diploma in Business Management (AIM, Sydney). Dr. Elisabeth Pillgrab-Parker is a distinguished healthcare innovator and global health researcher with a multidisciplinary background spanning academia, music therapy, and healthcare management. Originally from Austria, she lectured at the University of Sydney and served as Head of the Department of Education at the Australian National University (ANU). Additionally, she was a German Language Coach for Opera Australia and a music therapist in the Palliative Care Department at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney.

Since 2006, Dr. Pillgrab-Parker has been based in South Africa, where she co-founded Simunye Primary Healthcare. She has led extensive research on global health systems and has played a pivotal role in developing innovative circumcision devices and scaling safe circumcision practices to aid HIV prevention and advance public health in Southern Africa. Currently, as CEO of Unicirc Pty Ltd., Dr. Pillgrab-Parker oversees global training services and clinical trials for safe circumcision methods across the region
